Dr. David Rodricks is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacement and revision. He is the current Clinical Care Joint Director at Ocean Medical Center.
Robotic Knee Surgery

Dr. Rodricks specializes in the CORI Surgical System.
The CORI system uses handheld robotics-assisted technology that helps Dr. Rodricks plan and perform your unique knee replacement procedure. This robotics-assisted approach is efficient and more accurate than traditional knee surgery and is designed to ensure optimal implant selection and positioning based on your unique anatomy.
The end result is a more natural-feeling knee.
And, unlike other robotics-assisted platforms, the CORI Surgical System’s real-time planning eliminates the need to undergo a preoperative CT scan thereby reducing patient exposure to potentially harmful radiation.
He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School. He went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and followed with a fellowship in Lower Extremity Reconstruction at Scripps Clinic.
He has a particular focus on rapid recovery programs and performs outpatient joint replacements on healthy, active patients. His first priority, however, is returning his patients to their active lifestyles safely.
