Laura Switaj, PA-C

Laura joined Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey as a physician assistant in September 2008. She was born and raised in South Jersey, and currently lives in Central Jersey. Laura attended Oakcrest High School and graduated in 2000. She then went on to do her undergraduate work at Rutgers University in New Brunswick where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and minored in sociology. Laura went to Rutgers on an athletic scholarship for gymnastics. She then worked as a pharmacy technician for a year, and then went to Seton Hall University, where she earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant in 2008. Laura chose to pursue orthopedics/sports medicine due to the fact she has been around injuries so often, being an athlete. Laura enjoys watching football, baseball, and gymnastics, playing with her dog, and spending time with family and friends.Gregory Hering is the center manager and a distinguished member of the clinical team. He is proficient in treating a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions including spinal and sports injuries, rotator cuff repairs, and joint replacements. He is very patient-centered and his goals are straight-forward; to provide excellent patient care, to actively communicate with the physician/case manager and to obtain a successful recovery.

Steven Pietrofesa, PA-C

Steven Pietrofesa received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wagner College and the Staten Island University Hospital Physician Assistant Program. Prior to his employment at the Orthopaedic Spine Institute, he gained experience in the field working at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Steven is licensed as a Physician Assistant. This Brooklyn native was raised in Staten Island but is now proud to call New Jersey home.

Nicole Bien, PA-C

Nicole received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Rutgers University in 2008. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree and became a certified Physician Assistant after graduating from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2011. Nicole started her Physician Assistant career at Princeton Orthopedic Associates and worked with the chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Princeton Medical Center, specializing in hip and knee replacements as well as complicated revision surgeries. She was privileged to be a founding member of the Board that developed the Center of Excellence for Joint Replacement Surgery at Princeton Medical Center. After moving to the Jersey Shore, Nicole joined Orthopedic Institute of Central Jersey in 2017, and currently works in sports medicine, as well as in hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery.

Gregory Switaj, PA-C

Gregory Switaj joined Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey as a physician assistant in February 2009. He is a native of Ridgewood, NJ and currently residing in Central Jersey. Greg attended Ridgewood High School where he spent most of his time competing in athletics and hanging out in the training room. After graduating in 2000, he attended Springfield College in Massachusetts majoring in Athletic Training. Greg was a four-year starter on the Springfield College football team earning First Team All America honors as a placekicker in 2003. After graduating from Springfield, Greg spent a year working with the Athletics programs at Seton Hall University. He later went on to attend Seton Hall University graduating in 2008 with a Masters of Physician Assistant.Greg decided to pursue a career in Orthopedic Surgery due to his interest in athletic injuries and surgical reconstruction. Greg mostly focuses on Sports Medicine and Total Joint Replacement. Greg enjoys all sports especially football and golf, as well as spending time with his family, friends, and dog. Greg is married to Laura Switaj.

Kristen Forsyth, PA-C

Kristen Forsyth, PA-C is a south Jersey native who started working at Brielle Orthopedics directly after graduating in 2014, gaining extensive training in Sports Medicine, Total Joint Replacement, Spine, and both Lower and Upper Extremity.  Kristen currently works side-by-side with Dr. Nitche, specializing in Sports Medicine, in both the office and the operating room settings. Having been a nationally competitive gymnast, and high school state sectional tennis champ, she is passionate about getting patients back to sports and doing what they love.

After graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiciology, Kristen received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University, formerly known as UMDNJ.  When not treating patients, Kristen enjoys spending time exercising, playing tennis, and going to the beach with her husband and two young children.

Craig Davitt, PA-C

C.J. joined the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey in 2015 after graduating from Rutgers University (formerly UMDNJ) Physician Asst. Program. He completed his education throughout various NJ Hospitals and is trained in multiple sub specialties.Today, C.J. specializes in Sports Medicine, assisting Dr. Sclafani to help get their patients back in the game.

Amy Farmer, PA-C

Amy graduated from the University of Delaware where she received a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in sports science and exercise physiology. She then went on to the Physician Assistant program at Touro College in Manhattan where she was the president of her class and graduated in 2003.

Kim Colasanti, PA-C

Kim received her master of science degree and became a physician assistant after graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey in 2000. She started her Physician Assistant career In orthopedics in October 2000 out in Colorado. She has worked in multiple specialties within Orthopaedics since then. She moved back to New Jersey in March 2008 and joined a multi-specialty orthopedic group, Orthocenter, out of Red Bank. She became head PA for that group. She joined Orthopedic Institute of Central New Jersey as a physician assistant in July 2015 and is now the hand surgery specialty PA.

Kayce Lustrino, PA-C

Kayce Lustrino started with the Orthopaedic Institute of Central Jersey in September of 2017. Kayce primarily works in Sports Medicine. Her interest in orthopedics and sports medicine began at Manasquan High School in the student athletic training program and continued at Hofstra University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. She completed her education graduating from the Physician Assistant Program at Monmouth University.

Jenn Kesil PA-C

Jenn graduated from Lock Haven University in 1998 with a degree in Health Sciences and became a certified athletic trainer. She went onto graduate from Marywood University in 2001 with a BS in Physician studies and went on to gain a Masters degree from the University of Nebraska in 2005. Since 2001, Jenn has worked as physician assistant in a variety of settings including gastroenterology, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic, plastic surgery, and ENT. She is currently specializing in sports medicine working primarily with Dr. Stamos.

Jill Martinez PA-C

Jill graduated from Montclair State University in 2012 with a BS in Nutritional Sciences. She went on to attend New York Institute of Technology where she graduated in 2015 with a MS in Physician Assistant studies. Jill has worked as a PA in a variety of settings including general surgery, urology and orthopedics. She currently works primarily in ortho-spine with Dr. Tyler Kreitz. Jill enjoys traveling, DIY furniture projects and spending time with her husband and daughter. 

Lindsay Powers PA-C

Lindsay Powers, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in orthopedics with a focus in upper extremity disorders. Lindsay treats patients alongside Dr. Brian Katt primarily in the office setting performing various procedures, injections, pre-operative assessments, post-operative management as well as serving as a surgical assistant in the operating room. 

Lindsay earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York after receiving her undergraduate degree in Health Science from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lindsay prides herself on providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her husband and their two dogs along with family and friends. 

Jake Lloyd PA-C

Jake is a board-certified physician assistant who is passionate about providing patient centric care. He is a fellow of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS) and member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and holds certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. 

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Chemistry, and Japanese from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, he went on to obtain a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. During his graduate studies he completed more than 2000 hours of clerkships in varying specialties including orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. 

Jake grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved to New Jersey for the opportunity to work at Brielle Orthopedics. Out of the office he is family-oriented and enjoys a variety of passions and hobbies including snowboarding, mountain biking, skateboarding, rock climbing, playing the drum set, and studying foreign languages.

Heather Good PA-C

Heather Good, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in orthopedics with a focus in spine disorders. Heather primarily treats patients alongside Dr. Joseph Marsicano, both in the office and operating room.

She graduated magna cum laude from Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ, with a B.S. in Biochemistry, while swimming 4 years on a Division I scholarship. She holds an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA.

Heather has worked in orthopedics since becoming a Physician Assistant. Her experience further includes orthopedic oncology, joint replacement, and orthopedic trauma. She is a member of Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery (PAOS), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants (NJSSPA).

Heather currently resides in Monmouth County with her husband and 2 cats. Outside of work, she is often surfing, swimming, hiking, and skiing.

Mike Eberhardt PA-C

Mike joined Brielle Orthopedics-Orthopedic Institute in 2021. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Mike worked as a licensed athletic trainer in public school, collegiate,  and professional settings . He received his undergraduate degree from Rowan University, as well as graduate degrees from Ithaca College and Jefferson University. Mike is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants , New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery.  He enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling. 

Brianna Dziedzic PA-C

Brianna is a certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopedics. She is the physician assistant for Dr. Bogdan and works primarily with total joint replacements and performs injections for osteoarthritis. She graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2016. Brianna then graduated from Arcadia University in Newark, Delaware with a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2018. 

Brianna is board certified with the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with family.

Matt Johnson PA-C

Matt completed his undergraduate studies at West Chester University in Pennsylvania.  From there he attended Bethel University in Tennessee where he graduated with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.  He joined Brielle Orthopedics in 2013 and has worked in every specialty within the practice before finding his niche in joint replacements.  He now works closely with Dr. Rodricks delivering the highest quality of care for his patients.

Matt believes physical activity is one of the most important aspects of recovering from injuries and surgery.  He encourages his patients to remain active and continue to push towards regaining strength and mobility.  He enjoys seeing the progress his patients make as he guides them through recovery.

Matt enjoys living an active lifestyle outside of work consisting of playing soccer and exercising.  He loves spending time on the water with his wife and two girls.
