Dr. Hollawell received his Doctorate Degree in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency at Graduate Hospital/MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also Board Certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and Board Certified in Foot Surgery.
Dr. Hollawell is an adjunct professor for Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Department of Orthopaedics, and is an adjunct professor at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. He serves as an attending physician to both the orthopedic residency program at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ and the Podiatric Surgical Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.

Dr. Hollawell has a special interest in treating injured athletes at all levels. He has extensive training and experience in joint replacement of the foot and ankle, and in treating chronic and difficult to heal wounds.
He has volunteered his services on many occasions and was part of a medical team and mission that responded to the devastating Haitian earthquake in January 2010.
