Dr. Goldstein received his Bachelor’s degree from Union College, and graduated with his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. His postgraduate training included residencies in General Surgery and in Orthopaedic Surgery at State University/Kings County Hospital Center, as well as specialized Spine fellowships at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and Saint Luke’s Spine Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Goldstein uses his training background as a starting point from which to grow and progress. “My medical education and orthopaedic training provided me with an excellent foundation to begin my career. This education, however, continues on a daily basis in the lessons I learn from my patients. Restoring these patients to function, easing them out of pain, and returning them to their prior lives is my goal,” said Dr. Goldstein.
In addition to his extensive training and practice experience, Dr. Goldstein has also published articles in journals such as The Journal of Trauma and Spine, and has participated in several research studies on developing treatments in the field of orthopaedic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member the North American Spine Society and The New Jersey Orthopaedic Association.
